This place is terrific! I had been meaning to go since they opened and finally did for the first time tonight. I’m mad at myself for not trying Tikka Shack sooner because I could have--and would have--been eating here every week all this time! The interior is fun and chic, all of the utensils are biodegradable and the staff could not be kinder or friendlier. All of that is just a bonus to how generous the portions are, how well the food is priced, and how fantastic the food is. It’s really good not just for a chain but for Indian food PERIOD, including a lot you’d find in major metropolitan areas such as NYC. The masala fries are deliciously, improbably crispy, perfectly salted and spiced, thoughtfully interspersed with morsels of onion, tomato and fresh herbs which balance out the spice and decadence of the fries themselves. The basmati rice is buttery fluffy goodness, the chicken tender and the sauces thick, luscious and vibrantly full of perfect spice blends. I can’t wait to eat my way through the whole menu!
I had a very great experience! I enjoyed the food as someone who struggles with spicy food. It is a great place to eat if you cannot eat in large portions and who is new to trying Indian food. The owner was really kind and friendly. The customer service was amazing. Definitely if you are coming to the Lancaster at area, give Tikka Shack a try. Also I go by Gia (Jiya)

This Tikka Shack serves delicious Indian food with a modern twist. The portions are generous, and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The tandoori chicken pizza was a standout, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The lamb in spinach sauce was incredibly tender, some of the softest I’ve ever had, and absolutely delicious! The customer service was excellent. The gentleman at the register was very friendly and polite, even offered us samples of sauces to help us choose what we liked most. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, making for a great dining experience. Don’t forget to try their house-made mango lassi in the bottle, it’s refreshing and not too sweet, just right and delicious. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back!
Great food! Super clean and delicious. Mango salad is yum. spicy chicken tacos are so good. Tikka wrap had insane amount of cheese to be able to taste anything else but next time i get it without cheese or get the skewers with a side of naan. Don’t doubt go get that delicious food.
Great food, atmosphere, and super fast service once we ordered. I would suggest, however, that when there is a big line that an employee man the self-order machine to help things move along just a bit better. Customer service should always be strong point. Will definitely be back, though.
I had a great experience! We were looking for somewhere good to eat in Lancaster and many people recommended Tikka Shack. I was pleased to see their halal certification and their variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere and service were great. The place is very clean (and so are the bathrooms!). Food came out quickly and was amazing. I look forward to coming again!
A great dining experience at Tikka Shack. First, the staff was super friendly and the food came out super fast and hot. Since this was my first time here, I had to go with a variety of things. The butter masala was good, but I was extremely impressed with the coconut curry wings. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting getting wings at an Indian restaurant, but it was a great decision. They were super crispy unprompted and sauce amount was perfect. Really great quality. I also loved the fries, which were topped with tikka sauce, onions, tomatoes, cilantro and were seasoned great. I will definitely be back.
